Trinity Empowerment Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youths. We provide personal support and guidance to children and their families that are disadvantaged or underprivileged. We at TEC believe it is not just the external but the internal that matters. We focus on all areas of youth’s well-being.

We believe all children deserve to have their basic needs met in order for them to flourish and become all God has intended them to be.

We believe God is calling us to empower children and their families so He can use them in an intimate and powerful way to help shape the future of this next generation. Will you prayerfully partner with us?

LaTonya Brown is the President and CEO of Trinity Empowerment Center. With a professional background in Criminal Justice and Real Estate, LaTonya began working extensively with nonprofit organizations in the early 2000’s.

Her passion continued to grow, leading to the decision to start TEC. Teaming with like-minded individuals TEC was launched in 2006.

Early in LaTonya’s life she’s always had the heart to make a difference in the community and other’s lives. As early as 5 years old, her passion and selflessness began as she would pass out cookies to the kids on her block.

Since the beginning, LaTonya’s vision for Trinity Empowerment has been to empower youth with the essential services that help youth become leaders and self- sustaining individuals. The vision is being full-filled with the “Back to school Drive” and “Coat Drive” held every year in the inner city schools. In addition, to the mentoring programs offered.

A lover of travel, novice of writing, event planning, and connoisseur of Mexican food, she lives outside of Lonetree, CO. with her family. Her faith and belief in God is her foundation and allows her the ability to be a blessing for others.

LaTonya’s motto is “We are blessed to be a blessing.” So, each and every day she strives to make an impact on everyone she encounter and a legacy.
